Anthony J. Giaimo age 80 of Salem, NH, died Sunday at the Lawrence General Hospital, Lawrence, MA.
He was born in Lawrence, where he grew up and attended schools. He was a resident of Salem for the past 44 years.
Mr. Giaimo was a retired letter carrier for the Salem Post Office. He was also a retired Chief Petty Office for the United States Navy, where he served for 19 years and in the Korean War. After his retirement he also worked as an usher in the clubhouse for Rockingham Park in Salem. He was a member of the Salem VFW Post 8546, a life time member of the DAV, & the Navy Musicians Association
He is survived by his Wife: Janice (D’Amour) Giaimo of Salem

Calling hours will be held Wednesday, March 4 from 5-7 PM, followed by a memorial service at 7 PM at the Douglas & Johnson Funeral Home, 214 Main Street, Salem, NH.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105
