Mr. Carl N. Brady, age 72, a resident of Pelham, NH for over 25 years passed away Thursday February 26th, at Lowell General Hospital. For 36 years, he was the beloved husband of Donna P. (Sousa) Brady.
He was born in Gulfport, Mississippi on August 13th, 1936, son of the late William & Beulah (Nichols) Brady.
Carl enlisted in the US Air Force in 1954. He served as an airplane mechanic while stationed at Elmendorf Air Force Base in Alaska. He received an honorable discharge in 1962.
Prior to his retirement, Carl was the Owner & Operator of Brady Trucking, for he was in the Trucking industry for many years.
He was a classic car enthusiast and could often be seen at cruise-nights and car shows in the area in their classic Mustang. Carl also loved his adopted-rescue greyhound named "Turbo," following his adoption in 2004, Carl and his wife soon became active volunteers for the Greyhound Pets of America.
Besides his beloved wife, Donna, he is survived by his loving son, Jeff Brady of Pelham, NH; he also leaves three brothers, Bill of Colorado, Bob of Vermont, and Cliff of Oklahoma; two sisters Noreen Arcand of Tewksbury and Mary Wyman of Townsend; also many nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received at the M.R. LAURIN & SON FUNERAL HOME, 295 Pawtucket St. Lowell on Tuesday morning from 8 to 10 AM. A Prayer Service will take place in the Funeral Home at 10 o'clock. Interment will be private at Gibson Cemetery in Pelham, NH.
