WORCESTER-Mary C. (O’Neill) Dubois, 85, of Worcester, passed away peacefully Saturday, February 28th in the Golden Living Center-Hermitage Nursing Home surrounded by her loving family. Her husband of 21 years, Richard H. “Dick” Dubois, died in 1997. She leaves a daughter, Debra A. Berthiaume and her husband Gary of Rochdale; two sons, Michael E. Walsh and Steven J. Walsh, both of Worcester; a daughter-in-law, Margaret Walsh of Worcester; a sister, Helen Cleary of Worcester; four grandchildren; a great grandchild; and nephews and nieces.
She was born in Worcester, the daughter of Joseph and Catherine (Foley) O’Neill and graduated from the former High School of Commerce. Mrs. Dubois worked as a clerk for Filene’s, Eddy's of Park Avenue and J.C. Penney, retiring in 1990. She was a member of St. Andrew the Apostle Church. Mary’s family would like to extend their sincere thanks to the staff of the Golden Living Center-Hermitage Nursing Home and St. Vincent Hospital, 3 South, for the exceptional and compassionate care they provided for her.
The funeral is Tuesday, March 3rd from O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue, with a Mass at 10:00 A.M. in St. Andrew the Apostle Church, 5 Spaulding Street. Burial will be in St. John’s Cemetery. A visiting hour will be held from 8:30 until 9:30 A.M. Tuesday in the funeral home.
