Dorothy Masse, 92 of Eisenhower Drive, in Smithfield, formerly of Narragansett, died Wednesday, February 24, 2009 at home. She was the wife of Hormidas E. “Ed” Masse. They were married 66 years.
Born in Providence, a daughter of the late Edmond and Julia (Bradford) Dube. She lived in Smithfield for over 4 years, previously living in Narragansett. Mrs. Masse had been a floor lady for Brite Industries, Inc. for 20 years before retiring in 1977.
Besides her husband she is survived by her son, William J. Healey, five grandchildren, three great grandchildren; a sister, Claire Skinner and several nieces and nephews. She was the mother of the late Rhoda Bosley and sister of the late Raymond and Joseph Dube.
Funeral private. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
