Obituary

Jellen Raymundo Reid, 65, of North Charleston, widow of James Matthew Reid, died Wednesday, February 25, 2009 at Trident Medical Center.

Funeral Mass will be held Saturday, February 28, 2009 at 12 o’clock at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 510 St. James Avenue, Goose Creek. Rite of Committal with Final Commendation will be held at Dorchester Memory Gardens, 11000 Dorchester Road, Summerville.

Friends may call at James A. Dyal Funeral Home, Summerville from 6 o’clock until 9 o’clock this evening. A Rosary service will be held at 7:30. Flowers will be accepted.

Mrs. Reid was born April 26, 1943 in Olongapo City, Philippines, daughter of the late Delfin and Rosalina Raymundo. She enjoyed reading, cooking, and crocheting. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star Carolina #5 and of the Filipino Community Center. She graduated from St. Joseph’s High School in Olongapo City, Philippines and Manila Central University in Manila, Philippines. She worked at Trident Medical Center in the scheduling department. She attended Immaculate Conception Catholic Church and St. Thomas Catholic Church.

2 Brothers: Delfin Raymundo, Jr. of Midlothian, VA and wife Lily and Romeo Raymundo of Jacksonville, FL and wife Yolly
1 Sister: Pura Caseja of North Charleston, SC and husband Joey
8 Nieces: Ira Caseja and Ian Mae Sico of North Charleston, SC, Dr. Chrisandra Sico-Davis of Kinston, NC, Delia Raymundo and Lyn Raymundo of Midlothian, VA, Lyn Doble and Amy Suanes of the Philippines, and Abigail Tran of Jacksonville, FL
2 Nephews: Chris Raymundo of Jacksonville, FL and Jan Caseja of North Charleston, SC
5 Great Nieces: Ela Balde of North Charleston, SC, Jamie Suanes, Aimee Rose Suanes, Julianne Suanes and Ashley Doble of the Philippines
4 Great Nephews: Christopher Glen Suanes, Arthur Christian Doble, Neil Bola Bola of the Philippines and Jonathan Tran of Jacksonville, FL
She was predeceased by her husband and her sister Sylvia R. Sico.
