PALLADINO, Walter John Of Newton, formerly of Wellesley, died Feb. 26, 2009 at the age of 67 after a valiant year long fight against pancreatic cancer.
Mr. Palladino was born in Wellesley on Aug. 23, 1941, the only son of Harry John and Eva (Tassinari) Palladino, also of Wellesley. He attended Wellesley High School and graduated from Dean College in 1961, with a degree in Building Construction. He maintainted a life long commitment to the school earning him the Cameron S. Thompson Award for distinguished service in 2008. He received his Bachelor's Degree cum laude from Stonehill College in 1985.
For over 26 years, Mr. Palladino sold products to the architectural and engineering communities, most recently he served as National Account Manager for ServicePointUSA. He was founder and president of Architectural Model Associates, Inc. Among his many accomplishments he created the architectural model of the United States Pavilion for the 1967 World's Fair in Montreal, as well as the model of the Papal Altar for Pope John II's visit to Boston in 1979. For the past three years he proudly volunteered at the Dana Farber Cancer Institute.
Wally excelled at tennis and enjoyed gardening, fishing, trail riding, shooting, camping and his workouts at the gym. He also enjoyed travelling; especially the many trips he made to visit his treasured family in Renazzo, Italy.
Wally is survived by his devoted wife Deborah Telles-Palladino, his son Walter Scott Palladino and wife Lisa of Charlotte, N.C., his son Ryan Palladino and wife Ana of Westboro, MA; his "bonus" daughter Selene Telles of Providence, RI; his sister Ada-Louise Elmer and husband Robert of Stonington, CT, his 5 grandchildren, Giselle and Alec of Charlotte, N.C., McKayla, Ryley and Alicia of Westboro, MA, 2 nieces Robyn Stachelsky of East Haddam, CT and Elizabeth Elmer of Westerly, RI and 2 great nieces, his adored cats, Nicholas and Addy will also miss him.

Doherty & Sons Funeral Home, 477 Washington St., (Rt. 16), WELLESLEY, Sat. at 10:30 a.m. Funeral Mass in St. Paul's Church, Wellesley at 11:30 a.m. Relatives and friends kindly invited.
