Veronica T. Doyle, 95 of Concord, NH, died Monday in the Havenwood-Heritage Heights in Concord, NH.
Born in Warren, MA, she was raised in West Brookfield, MA, lived in New Hampshire for the past 5 years and formerly of Hyannisport and Medford. She was the daughter of the late Alice (Harrington) and Arthur Langlois. Veronica earned her R.N. from St. Vincent’s School of Nursing in Worcester in 1933 and had worked at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Brighton. While living in Hyannisport she was an active member of St. Francis Xavier Church and also belonged to the Women’s Guild. Beloved wife of the late Atty. Edward F. Doyle. Devoted mother of Christine Doyle and her husband Steven Mathes of Nottingham NH, and the late Edward F. Doyle Jr. Loving and devoted grandmother of Alison Mathes of Dillon, CO and Trevor Mathes of Nottingham, NH. Sister of the late Rita Collins and Rev. Robert J. Langlois, SM. A funeral mass will be celebrated in St. Raphael Church, 512 High St., Medford Saturday at 10 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours have respectfully been omitted. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be sent in Veronica’s name to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701.
