Barbara A. McLean, 55, passed away on February 23rd, 2009 at the Melrose Wakefield Hospital. She was born on May 26th, 1953 to her parents Frederick J. and Elise (Thomann) Kelley. Barbara was raised in Malden, attending Immaculate Conception Grammar School and graduating from Malden High School, Class of 1972. She worked as an administrative assistant for Harvard Community Health in Medford for over 8 years and previously worked for Town & Country Jewelers in Chelsea. Barbara and her family have lived in Melrose for the past 14 years. She is survived by her husband, Robert McLean of Melrose; by her children, Erin McLean and her fiancé Rick Middleton of Saugus and Lindsay McLean of Melrose; by her siblings, Paula Woods and her longtime companion Robert Lally of Chelmsford, Mark Kelley of Londonderry, NH and Scott Kelley and his wife Bernice of Malden. Barbara was also survived by several nieces and nephews. Relatives & friends are invited to attend her funeral from the Breslin Funeral Home, 610 Pleasant St., Malden on Friday February 27th at 8 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial celebrated at Immaculate Conception Church, 600 Pleasant St., Malden at 9 AM. Visiting hours will be held at the funeral home on Thursday from 4-8 PM.
