Peabody, Maureen T. (Wilkins) Hathaway age 55 of Peabody, died Friday, February 20, 2009 at the Kaplan Family Hospice House in Danvers. She was the wife of Michael L. Hathaway.
Born and raised in Peabody, she was the daughter of the late Charles H. and Alice M. (Provencher) Wilkins. A resident of Salem for many years, Maureen worked in her father’s landscaping business for most of her employment career.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by a daughter, Tammy M. Nelson-Cook of Salem, 2 step-sons, James Hathaway of Maine and Dennis Hathaway of Beverly, a brother, Kenneth Wilkins of Georgia and a sister, Nina Davis of Danvers. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
