Obituary

SALEM- F. Louise (Campbell) Royal, 69, wife of the late Louis L. Royal, of Salem, died Sunday morning, June 1, 2003, in the Salem Hospital following a long illness.

Born in Salem, she was the daughter of the late Charles A. and Hilda M. (Harrison) Campbell and was a lifelong resident of the city.

Prior to her retirement, she was employed by the City of Salem for over 15 years, first as a nursing assistant at the former Salem Health Hospital, and later as a switchboard operator at the Shaughnessy-Kaplan Hospital.

Mrs. Royal is survived by two sons and a daughter-in-law, Louis G. & Jennifer Royal of Lenox Township, Michigan, Ronald C. Royal of Salem, one daughter and son-in-law, Patricia A. and Raymond St. Pierre of Haverhill, five grandchildren, Christen St. Pierre and Nicholas St. Pierre, both of Haverhill, Louis W. Royal of Peabody, George Alurac, of Lenox Township, Michigan, Matthew R. Royal of Salem, and several nieces and nephews.

Her funeral service will be held Thursday, June 5, 2003 at 9 AM in the Full-Spychalski Funeral Home, 84 Washington Square East, by Salem Common, Salem. Relatives and friends respectfully invited. Visiting hours are Wednesday, 4 to 8 pm.
