Albina B. (Dagesi) St. George, 84, of 26 Standish Street, died Thursday, May 29, at home.
Her husband of 61 years, Ernest A. St. George, died in November. She leaves two daughters, Marie Anne St. George of Worcester and Jeannette Theresa St. George of Juneau, Alaska; a brother, Frank Dagesi of Worcester; a nephew; 2 nieces; 3 grandnephews; 2 grandnieces. A brother, John V. Dagesi of Cranston, Rhode Island, died 12 years ago.
Mrs. St. George was a bookkeeper many years at Tiles, Inc. and a clerk for many years at Sears.
She was a graduate of the former Saint Casimir's Grammar School and the former High School of Commerce.
She was known for her lifelong compassion to animals.
Friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at 11:30 a.m. Monday, June 2, in St. Casimir Church, 41 Providence Street. Her longtime family Rev. Henry A Donoghue will be the Celebrant. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Humane Society of the United States, Wahington, D.C.
