Theodore J. Goulkin, 75, of Dracut, MA, formerly of Salem, NH, died Wed. Feb. 18th at Lahey Clinic in Burlington, MA.
Ted was born in Boston, MA the son of the late Ruth (Litman) and Louis Goulkin. He graduated from Chelsea High School and Mass School of Pharmacy. Ted retired from the Nashoba Hospital in Ayer, MA where he worked as a pharmacist. He previously worked as a Security Guard Captain at MA-Com, now Tyco, in Lowell and in Customer Service at the IRS in Andover, MA. After his medical retirement, Ted became involved with the elderly and found they were in need of services that he could provide. He provided tax filing services at no charge for these community members.
Ted was a talented musician who played many instruments. He enjoyed playing cards and had enjoyed bowling. Ted was a member of St. David’s Choir, the Salem Senior Singers and the Salem Senior Center.
