Nathan Allan McQuany Jr., 31, of Cliff Street, Norwich, passed away on Wednesday, February 11, 2009.
He was born in Groton CT, the son of Nathan A. McQuany Sr. of Louisville KY and Holly Boykin McQuany, Norwich CT . He attended Groton Schools. A member of the Eastern Pequot Tribal Nation, he considered the reservation his second home. He was a giving person and was always there for his family when they needed him. We love you and miss you.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his grandmother, Geneva Sebastian; his children Atiyana C., Tanejha N., Jalen, and Geneva McQuany and his siblings Marcus, Justin, Pernell, Carlton, and Tara Henderson and Meagan, Nicole and Lakisha McQuany. He was predeceased by his grandparents, Bennie Groce, George Groce and Joseph McQuany.
A Memorial Service will be conducted at The Dinoto Funeral Home, 17 Pearl Street, Historic downtown Mystic on Wednesday at 2pm. His family will gather privately for scattering of his ashes.
