Worcester- Margaret C. (Degnis) Savage, 87, of 138 Kenberma Road, died Friday, May 30, in St. Francis Home, after an illness.
Her husband of 47 years, Peter P. Savage, died in 1985. She leaves a son, Peter R. Savage of North Grafton; a sister, Josephine Raymond of Worcester; 7 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; nephews and nieces. A son, Paul R. Savage of Brookfield, died in April. She was born in Amherst, daughter of George and Elizabeth Degnis and lived here many years. She graduated from Commerce High School.
Mrs. Savage was a member of St. Casimir Catholic Parish.
The funeral will be held Monday, June 2, from Dirsa-Morin Funeral Home, 298 Grafton Street (www.worcesterfuneral.com), with a Mass at 10 a.m. in St. Casimir Church, 41 Providence Street. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery. A calling hour will be from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. Monday, June 2, in the funeral home.
