WORCESTER-Joseph P. McIntyre, 51, passed away Thursday, February 19 after a long battle with Kidney Failure.
He leaves his wife, Heidi Lisa (O’Connor) McIntyre; two children, Kendra Melinda McIntyre and Joseph Patrick McIntyre; his mother, Jean M. (McCann) McIntyre of Paxton; his sister, Christine M. McIntyre of Paxton; his mother and father-in-law, Joseph and Wiley O'Connor of Worcester; his brother-in-law, Ian O'Connor of Worcester; his sister-in-law, Melinda and her husband, Steve Zottoli of Princeton; two aunts, cousins, nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father, Vincent McIntyre in 2006.
He was born in Worcester the son of Vincent and Jean M. (McCann) McIntyre and graduated from Wachusett Regional High School in 1976. Joseph formerly worked for Aegis Security.
The funeral will be Tuesday, February 24 at 11:00 AM at CALLAHAN & FAY BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 61 Myrtle St. Interment will be in St. John’s Cemetery. Visiting hours will be Monday, February 23 from 4:00 until 7:00 PM in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
