Obituary

Jeanne DeMeo 86, formerly of Papineau Ave. died Wednesday at the Ballou Home. She was the wife of the late Daniel DeMeo and Gino Camilucci. Mrs. DeMeo was born in Woonsocket, a daughter of the late Louis and Eva (Girard) Lepage. She worked at the former Belisle’s Bakery for several years, and then worked as a lunch aide for twenty two years at the former East Woonsocket School, before retiring in 1989. In her younger years Jeanne enjoyed dancing. She had a great love of people and made friends wherever she went.

She is survived by one son Kenneth Camilucci of Woonsocket, a daughter Leah Kirk and her husband Andrew of Independence, CA, two step children, John DeMeo and his wife Donna of Kingston, NH, and Linda Gross and her husband William of Hopedale, three grandchildren Matthew, Stephen, and Andrea of NH, and a goddaughter Barbara Camilucci Tondre of Austin TX. She was also the sister of the late Albert, Therese, Marguerite, and Viviane Lepage, and Adrienne Ouellet. Jeanne had a good life with two loving and caring husbands. She had a great love of and pride in her children, step children, and grandchildren.

Her funeral will be held Saturday at 10:00 AM from the Fournier & Fournier Funeral Home, 99 Cumberland St. Woonsocket, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM in St. Joseph’s Church, Mendon Rd. Woonsocket. Burial will be held in St. Jean Baptiste Cemetery in Bellingham. Visiting hours are Friday 4-7 PM.
