Lorraine A. “Rainy” Carapellucci, 70 of Malden, died Monday after a long illness in the Kaplan Family Hospice House, Danvers, MA.
Born in Boston, she lived in Malden for the past 40 years and was the daughter of the late Josephine (Reppucci) and Fernando Baldassari. Former wife of Rocco Carapellucci. Devoted mother of Richard Carapellucci of Everett,Lisa Carapellucci of Salem, Robyn Kolpachnikof of Billerica and the late Tamina “White” Carapellucci. Also survived by 9 loving grandchildren and 1 loving great grandchild. Sister of David, Michael, Paul, Thomas and Mark Baldassari, Linda Birdsong and the late Fredric Baldassari. A funeral service will be held in the Eagle Height Church, 1075 Revere Beach Parkway, Revere Saturday at 10 am. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Friday 4 – 8 at the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford. Services will conclude with burial at Puritan Lawn Memorial Park, Peabody. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be sent in Lorraine’s name to the Kaplan Family Hospice House, 78 Liberty St., Danvers, MA 01923.
