Obituary

James A. Mandeville, 75, formerly of Clinton St., died Tuesday at Oakland Grove Health Center. He was the husband of the late Juliette C. (Lamoureux) Mandeville.
Born in Woonsocket, he was a son of the late Emile and Florina (Jacob) Mandeville. He was a lifelong resident of Woonsocket.
Mr. Mandeville served in the U.S. Navy aboard the USS Iowa.
Following his service to his country, he was employed at Texas Instruments in Attleboro for over 26 years before retiring in 1993. He previously worked at the French Worsted mill for several years.
He is survived by a brother, Camile Mandeville, of Woonsocket, three sisters, Yvette Mandeville, Vivian Roy, and Simone Goudreau, all of Woonsocket, and several nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Emile and Robert Mandeville, Lucille Guilbeault, and Florence Belisle.
His funeral will be Saturday at 9:00 am from the Menard Funeral Home, 127 Carrington Ave., Woonsocket, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am in All Saints Church, Rathubn St., Woonsocket. Burial with military honors will follow in St. Jean Baptiste Cemetery, Bellingham. Visiting hours are Friday from 5-8 pm. Memorial donations may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
