Obituary


Brian D. “Clarkie” Clark, 57 years old, a resident of Greater Lowell for most of his life, died Friday February 13 at Saints Medical Center.
Born in Lowell on October 9, 1951, he was a son of the late Thomas E. “Merky” Clark Jr. and Charlotte (Szylvian) Clark. He was educated in the Lowell schools.
Mr. Clark lived in North Carolina and in New Jersey before moving back to live in North Chelmsford. For many years, Mr. Clark was a truck driver for various trucking companies in the area.
He is survived by a son, Brian D. Clark Jr. of Troy, N.C.; a daughter, Melissa (Kevghas) Palmer of Westford; a grandson; two sisters, Charlene West and her husband James F. II of Palmetto, Fla. and Donna M. Clark of Lowell; four nephews, Shawn Velazquez and Rafael Rodriguez of Lowell, James F. West III and Justin M. West all of Florida; a niece, Chantelle Clark of Lowell; a great nephew, Jayden Velazquez of Lowell; three great nieces, Kiara (Kiki) and Alexsis Velazquez of Lowell and Camryn West of Florida; several aunts, uncles and cousins and two dear friends, Carol Costa of North Chelmsford and Louie Velazquez of Lowell.
Mr. Clark was also the brother of the late Thomas E. Clark III and Paul (PJ) Rooney.
CLARK- There will be no calling hours. His Memorial Funeral Mass will be held Friday Feb. 20, at 10 am at ST. MICHAEL’S CHURCH. Relatives and friends invited. Should friends desire donations in his memory may be made to the American Diabetes Association, 330 Congress Street, Boston, MA. 02110. Arrangements are by the MAHONEY FUNERAL HOME, LOWELL.
