Beatrice G. Beaudoin Bedell, 93 of 25 Union Ave. died May 29, 2003 in the Lakes Region General Hospital. A lifelong resident of Laconia, she was born here on March 28, 1910, the daughter of Alfred and Arthemise (Beaudoin) Gilbert.
She was pre-deceased by her husbands, Eugene Beaudoin in 1968 and Calvin Bedell. A devoted homemaker, she was a communicant of Sacred Heart Church. She was a member of the Ladies of St. Anne, and Les Dames Canados.
For many years Beatrice was actively involved in the Laconia Emblem Club. In addition, while she resided at Sunrise Towers, she was a member of the Golden Age Club. She was an avid Bingo player and enjoyed spending the winter months in Deerfield Beach FL.
Family members include two daughters, Doris Fecteau and her husband Ralph of Laconia and Irene Lachance and her husband Normand of Laconia; two sons, Roger Beaudoin and his wife Geraldine of Belmont and Roland Beaudoin of Fairbanks, Alaska; 7 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; a brother, Eugene Gilbert and his wife Rachel of Laconia; several nieces and nephews.
Calling hours were in the Simoneau & Lambert Funeral Home, 139 Church St. Saturday from 9:30 – 10:30 AM. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated in Sacred Heart Church, 291 Union Ave. Saturday at 11 AM. Rev. Adrien Longchamps, Pastor was the celebrant. Burial followed in Sacred Heart Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Sacred Heart Parish Capital Improvement Fund, 291 Union Ave. Laconia NH 03246. Timothy C. Molan was the funeral director.
