Obituary

BENEVENTO, Joseph A. 85 of Plymouth formerly of Cambridge passed away February 12th at Radius Healthcare of Plymouth. Joseph was the loving husband of Patricia (McLean) Benevento. He leaves behind his sons Michael and Phillip both of Plymouth, a sister Carmilla Pinto of Plymouth and a granddaughter Kerri A. Deegan. Joseph was the father of the late Gale Francis Deegan. Mr. Benevento was born on December 20, 1923 in Swampscott, MA and was the son of the late Joseph and the late Maria Benevento. Joseph served in the United States Army during World War II. He was an automobile mechanic a field in which he was self employed and enjoyed very much. In his free time Joseph also enjoyed wood working and spending time in his garden. A funeral mass will be celebrated on Monday February 16, 2009 at 10 am at St. Bonaventure’s Parish in Manomet. Friends are welcome to pay their respects during Visiting Hours on Sunday February 15, 2009 from 2-4 and 7-9 at the Richard Davis Funeral Home, 619 State Rd (Rte 3A), Plymouth (Manomet). Interment will be at Manomet Cemetery.
