James A. Currier, 60, of Oak St., Derry, NH, died Friday, May 23, 2003 at the Elliot Hospital in Manchester from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. He was born in Manchester, NH on June 5, 1942, a son of Ann B. (Charest) Currier and the late Joseph Currier. He was a lifelong resident of Derry. Mr. Currier attended Pinkerton Academy in Derry and was self employed as an auto mechanic. He was a US Air Force veteran. Mr. Currier enjoyed spending winters in Florida.
In addition to his mother of Sacramento, CA, he is survived by his brother, Thomas A. Currier of Chester, NE, and his sister, Dorothy Ford of Derry, several nieces, nephews and cousins.
There are no calling hours. Following cremation, a memorial service will be held at a later date. The Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch St., Derry is handling the arrangements.
