Mrs. Adele G. Rustino, of Medford MA, died Wednesday in the Life Care Center Of Stoneham. She is the wife of the late James Rustino.
Mrs. Rustino was born in Boston, daughter of the late John and Mary (Christina) Ferrara. She is a graduate of Revere High School and also Burdett College. In earlier years she worked as a secretary and a fashion model.
Always very active, she enjoyed hiking and was well known for her outstanding garden display. In her spare time she volunteered at the Soldier’s Home in Chelsea and at the New England Deaconess Hospital. Mrs. Rustino was an advocate of good nutrition and a hobby for which she was noted, was interior decorating.
She is survived by one daughter: Adele F. Rustino and her husband Warren Carberg of Concord, a son James Rustino and his wife Karen of NH. Grandmother of 5 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Sister of Julius Ferrera of MO, and the late Agripina Hooley.
Friends may call Saturday from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. at Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford. A Funeral Service will be held at Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford, at 11:00 am. Burial will follow in Puritan Lawn Memorial Park, Peabody.
