Obituary

BICKEL, KENNETH EDWARD, 83, of Louisville, passed away Tuesday, February 10, 2009.
He was a native of Evansville, IN, a U.S. Army veteran of World War II, and a retired machinist for the old L & N Railroad. He was a member of Incarnation Catholic Church, American Legion Post #220, VFW Post #1181, and International Assoc. of Machinists Local #205.
Preceded in death by his first wife, Mildred Bickel; and a brother, Philip Bickel.
Survivors include his wife, Norma Bickel; nine children, Kenneth G. (Karen), Anthony W., Gerald R. (Lisa), Michael L. (Cheryl), Ronald D. (Vicki), Donald L. Bickel (Chrissy), Sandy Haley (Gary), Steve Thurman (Holly), Sherri Wilson (Rusty); 20 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren.
Funeral Mass will be held 11 a.m. Friday at the Incarnation Catholic Church, 2229 Lower Hunters Trace, with burial in Louisville Memorial Gardens West.
Visitation will be noon-8 p.m. Thursday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Hwy.
