Leland Orson Bryant, 94, formerly of Elsmere,NY died Feb 3, 2009 at the V.A. Heathcare Center in Boston,Ma.
Born in Medusa,NY he was the son of the late Orson and Lulu Bryant. Mr.Bryant was the former owner and driving instructor of the Empire Auto Driving school in Delmar for 53 years having taught hundreds of local youth and adults to drive. Mr. Bryant served during World War II as a Sergeant in the U.S. Army's 156th Field Artillery Battalion. He was also an active member of American Legion Post # 1040 in Delmar.He was the father of David A. Bryant of Winthrop, Massachusetts and beloved Grandfather of Lindsey Bryant. Husband of the late Madalyn (Bellinger) Bryant. Arrangements were by the Casper Funeral Home in Boston, Ma with a memorial service to be announced at a later date.
