Sister of Jerry Shea of Manomet, Margaret Gardella of Plymouth and Joan Scarpa of Mesquite, NV and the late Timothy Shea, Daniel Shea and Patrick Shea. She also leaves several nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews. Born in Somerville to Jeremiah and Margaret (Carr) Shea, Delia graduated from Somerville High School and Somerville Hospital School of Nursing and attended the University of Maryland. She was a nurse for the US Air Force for over 20 years and she received many awards and citations. She retired as a Lt. Colonel. In her free time, she enjoyed gardening. Visiting hours will be held at the Richard Davis Funeral Home, 619 State Road, Route 3A, Plymouth (Manomet) on Monday, February 16th from 4-7 pm. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Bonaventure’s Church on Tuesday, February 17th at 10 o’clock. Burial will be at the Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne, MA.
