Methuen, MA- Robert “Bob” K. Daigle, 59, of Methuen, died at home, Thursday, February 12, 2009. Born in Lawrence in November of 1949, he graduated from Central Catholic High School, class of ’67, and also graduated from Lowell Tech in 1971. Bob started his own business, Daigle Engineers, Inc. in Methuen 30 years ago. He was past President of Mass Society of Professional Engineers and active in many other Engineering societies. He was also a communicant of St. Francis Church in Dracut.
Bob was a devoted husband and father who loved his family endlessly. He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Carol (Adamson), daughter, Alicia Cardosi of Londonderry, his mother, Lucille Daigle of Lawrence, and his sister Rosemarie Ross of Methuen. He also leaves his two grandsons, Austin and Aidan whom he loved and enjoyed tremendously, and his father-in-law, Frank Adamson, of Methuen, who was very proud to call Bob his “special son”.
Bob loved to play golf and was active in Karate for 10 years. He loved helping people and always tried to teach them to have a positive attitude. His favorite saying was “always look up, never look down”.
ARRANGEMENTS: Family and friends may pay their respects on Monday, February 16th from 4-8PM at the Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home, 233 Lawrence St., Methuen. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Tuesday, February 17th at 9 AM at St. Francis Church in Dracut, with burial to follow at Elmwood Cemetery in Methuen.
