Horace N. Blandin, 83 years of Quincy formerly of Brockton died Tuesday May 27 at the Milton Hospital after a period of failing health. He was the husband of Helen F. (Cirelli) Blandin for 62 years. Mr. Blandin was born in Middleboro son of the late Horace N. and Olive B. (Starbuck) Blandin. He was a graduate of Brockton High School and had lived in Brockton for many years before moving to Quincy 2 years ago.
Before his retirement he was a technician for United Shoe and Machinery Corp. in Brockton and Boston.He was an avid golfer and was a member of the Brockton Country Club.
In addition to his wife he is survived by his daughter Sheila B. Feenan of Quincy; 2 grandchildren Michael T. and Elizabeth A. Feenan both of Quincy and several nieces and nephews.He was the brother of the late Louise Foye, Olive Shea and Richard Blandin.
Services were held this Thursday in the J. Frank Conley Funeral Home, Brockton with committal in Melrose Cemetery in Brockton. Donations in Mr. Blandin’s memory may be made to the American Heart Association, 20 Speen St.,Framingham, MA 01701
