Ray Edward Goyette Jr. 54, of 69 Main St. died Monday in the Philip Hulitar Center in Providence. He was born in Geneva, NY, the son of Ray Edward Goyette Sr. of Bourne, MA and the late Sylvia (Benedict) Goyette. Ray was a roofer for the State of Massachusetts for over eighteen years. In addition, he worked for many years with Richard Marchand who was his best friend and owner of Marchand Septic Service.
Besides his father, he is survived by a brother Stephen Goyette of Mansfield, MA, and two sisters Rachel Whitehead of Palmdale, CA and Diana Campbell of Exeter, NH.
Visiting hours will be held Friday 6-8 PM from the Fournier & Fournier Funeral Home, 99 Cumberland St. Woonsocket. In lieu of flowers, donations to: Home and Hospice Care of RI, 169 George St., Pawtucket, RI, 02860, in his memory would be appreciated.
