Beloved wife of John Noel Connolly with whom she shared 46 years of marriage. Loving mother of John N. Jr. and his wife Tiffany of Nahant, Brian M. and his wife Jill of Quincy, and Stephen J. and his wife Anne-Marie of Canton. Daughter of the late John and Catherine Morrissey. Dear sister to Mary Hathaway of Dedham, the late Mikie Joe Morrissey of Co. Galway, Ireland, Margaret Creaton of Co. Roscommon, Bill Morrissey of Orland Park, IL., Katie Conroy of Co. Roscommon, Sean Morrissey of Co. Galway, the late Frances O’Shea of Orland Park, IL., Annie Broderick of Co. Galway, Michael Morrissey of Co. Galway, Eileen Walsh of Co. Kerry and Joseph Morrissey of Orland Park, IL. Cherished Nana to Ryan, Matthew Martin, Ella, Grace, Mary and James. Devoted sister in law to Mary P. Connolly and Carmel Sanderson. Bridie will also be greatly missed by many loving nieces and nephews. Bridie was a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother, aunt and friend. She delighted in spending time with her grandchildren, and was active in the Irish Cultural Centre of New England and St. Gerard Majella Parish, Canton. Funeral from the Dockray and Thomas Funeral Home, 455 Washington St., Canton on Saturday February 14, 2009 at 9:00 am followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Gerard Majella Church, Canton at 10:00 am. Relatives and friends invited. Visiting hours Thursday 5-8 pm and Friday 4-8 pm. Interment St. Joseph Cemetery, West Roxbury.
