Larry L. Belson, 68, of Summerville, husband of Katherine Hoffman Belson died Sunday, February 8, 2009.
Funeral service will be held Friday, February 13, 2009 at 11 o’clock at James A. Dyal Funeral Home Chapel, Summerville. A gathering of friends and family will begin at 10 o’clock until the hour of service. Burial will be held in Michigan.

Mr. Belson was born February 25, 1940 in Nashville, Michigan, son of the late Marshall and Evelyn Steele Belson. He was a graduate of Hastings High School, Hastings, Michigan and Davenport Business College, Grand Rapids, Michigan. He was a volunteer at Palmetto House and Summerville Medical Center. He was a member of Summerbrook Community Church where he was very active in church activities. He retired from a 30 year banking career.

1 grandson: David Johnson of Folly Beach, SC
1 sister: Shirley Cotant and her husband Richard of Hastings, Michigan
1 aunt and uncle: Vivian and Kenneth Steele of Olivet, Michigan
