Mrs. Vera C. (Ragowski) Sabusky, of Taunton, died Sunday, February 8 in Sturdy
Memorial Hospital, Attleboro, following a brief illness. She was the wife of the late
Henry A. Sabusky. She was born 89 years ago in Brockton, the daughter of the late
Frank and Xavera (Lesinskas) Ragowski. She was educated in Brockton and was a
graduate of the former Morton Hospital School of Nursing. Prior to her retirement,
she had been employed as an L.P.N. at Morton Hospital for 30 years. Mrs. Sabusky
was a member of the former Taunton Chapter of Catholic Nurses, the Morton Hospi-
tal Retirees Association and the St. Jude the Apostle Church Womens Guild. She
enjoyed gardening, her dog J.D., sewing and spending time with her daughter. She
was a communicant of St. Jude the Apostle Church.
She leaves:

2 sisters-in-law: Olga Saladyga of Taunton
Alice Ragowski of Brockton
several nieces and nephew
Mrs. Sabusky was also the sister of the late Francis Ragowski of Brockton.
Funeral services will be held from The Riendeau-Mulvey Funeral Home, 467 Bay
Street on Friday, February 13 at 9:00 A.M. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow in
St. Jude the Apostle Church at 10:00 A.M. Interment will be in St. Joseph Cemetery.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Visiting Hours will be held on Thursday,
from 5:00 to 8:00 P.M.
