Claire H. St. Pierre 84, of Cahir St. Providence, died Sunday in Steere House Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was born in Woonsocket a daughter of the late Hector and Marianna (Tetreault) Leduc and wife of the late Roger St. Pierre. Mrs. St. Pierre was a registered nurse working in various positions throughout RI. including the former Woonsocket Hospital.
She is survived by her children, Clarisse Dexter of N. Scituate, Andre B. St Pierre of N. Smithfield, Dr. Michelle Hughes of Tiverton, Colette St. Pierre of Orlando, FL, and Nicole Bentrup of Jacksonville, NC, two brothers, Hector Leduc of NC, and Paul Leduc of Orlando FL, a sister Jeannine Belli of Marlboro, MA, seven grandchildren and two great granddaughters. She was also the sister of the late Laura Plante.
Relatives and friends are invited to visiting hours Tuesday 5-8 PM from the Fournier & Fournier Funeral Home, 463 South Main St. Woonsocket. A funeral mass will be held Wednesday at 11:00 AM in N. Scituate Baptiste Church, 619 W. Greenville Rd. in N. Scituate. In lieu of flowers donations to Steere House Nursing Home, or Gloria Gemma Breast Cancer Foundation in her memory would be appreciated.
