WEBSTER - Frances M. “Fran” (Biadasz) Braczyk, 90, died peacefully at Hubbard Regional Hospital after a short illness on Sunday, February 8. Her beloved husband, Clement E. Braczyk, died in 1992.
She leaves a daughter, Marilyn F. Kramarz and her husband Jack of Dudley; a son, Robert E. Braczyk and his wife Monica of New York City; a brother, Walter F. Biadasz of Vero Beach, FL; 4 grandchildren, Julia and Maxine Braczyk and Ross and Craig Becker; 2 step grandchildren, Theresa Kramarz and Patricia Laros; a great grandson, Cameron Becker; 4 step great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her sisters Cecelia Madura and Lucy Prokuski and by her brothers Joseph and Anthony Biadasz.
She was born in Webster, daughter of Albert and Julia (Andruska) Biadasz and was a lifelong resident. She graduated from Bartlett High School.
Fran and her husband were avid polka fans and spent many hours dancing and listening to polka music. She also loved cooking for her family and friends. Gardening and flower arranging were favorite pastimes. She enjoyed the outdoors, especially camping. She was a former member of the St. Joseph Polish Women’s Club.
The funeral will be held Wednesday, February 11, from Scanlon Funeral Service, 38 East Main St., with a Mass at 11:30 AM in St. Joseph Basilica, 53 Whitcomb Street. Burial will be in St. Joseph Garden of Peace. Calling hours are from 5:00 to 8:00 PM Tuesday, February 10, in the funeral home.
