Houck, Glen
Glen “Curly” Houck, 74, of Ladson, husband of Shirley Ann Houck died Sunday, February 8, 2009 at Hospice Center of Charleston.
A memorial service will be held Sunday, March 1, 2009 at 1o’clock at the VFW Post 3433.
Glen was born May 16, 1934, in Port Jervis, NY, son of the late Glenwood Houck and Dorothy Allen Houck. He attended Walton public schools in Walton, NY and graduated from Sidney Central High School. He was a life member of the VFW – All American Past Post Commander, Post 3433, life member of Sub Vets, and a life member of the Elks. He was a Fleet Reserve member and a part of the American Legion. Mr. Houck retired from the United States Navy as a Chief Petty Officer. He was also advent Green Bay Packers fan.

1 ½ Sister: Peg Howell of California
2 ½ Brothers: Tom Houck of Albany, NY and Larry Houck of Sidney, NY
He was pre-deceased in death by his son Richard J. Houck.
