Obituary

Anthony M. Ferullo, 83 of Medford, died Tuesday at the Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston, following a lengthy illness. Born in Italy, he was the son of the late Michael and the late Assunta (Cataldo) Ferullo. Mr. Ferullo was a Medford resident for forty-two years. He worked for over twenty years as a ship fitter at the Boston Naval Shipyard. He also worked for a number of years as a custodian with the Town of Arlington School Department. Mr. Ferullo was a U.S. Army Veteran of WWII and was also a member of the V.F.W. of the Boston’s North End. Mr. Ferullo was an active parishioner of the Immaculate Conception Church in Malden and was also an avid coin collector.

Mr. Ferullo is survived by his beloved wife, Frances C. (DiMino) and their children, Anthony of Malden, Michael of Dracut, Richard of Wilmington, Susan, John and Nancy Ferullo all of Medford. He is also survived by six loving grandchildren and one loving great grandchild. Brother of Theresa Prevett of Westwood, Gloria Sama of Watertown and the late Melinda DeMaria.

Funeral from the Dello Russo Funeral Home 306 Main St. Medford, Saturday, at 8 AM. Followed by a funeral mass celebrated in the Immaculate Conception Church, 600 Pleasant St., Malden, at 9 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Friday 5 – 9. Interment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett.
