Worcester—Grace L. (Olund) Shoblom, 91, passed away Sunday, February 1, 2009, in Memorial Hospital. Her husband, Otto J. Shoblom, died in 1981. She leaves a daughter, Nancy M. Pike of Worcester; and 2 sons, Douglas O. Shoblom of Grafton and Donald R. Shoblom and his wife, Earleen, of Auburn; 6 grandchildren, and 9 great-grandchildren. A brother, Robert Olund, predeceased her. Grace was born in Worcester, daughter of G. Henry and Lillie M. (Kallstrom) Olund. She was a graduate of Commerce High School. She was a charter member of Trinity Lutheran Church and its Eunice Circle. Grace regularly attended and volunteered at the Senior Center of Worcester until recently. Her familiar sparkling blue eyes and warm smile will be greatly missed.
Funeral services will be held Monday, Feb. 9, 2009, at 11:30 a.m. in Christ Chapel of Trinity Lutheran Church. Burial will be in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. A Calling Hour will be held Monday from 10-11 a.m. at Nordgren Memorial Chapel, 300 Lincoln Street.
