Corina L. (Accorsi) Longobardi, 88 of Franklin died February 3 in the Milford Regional Medical Center. She was the wife of the late Benjamin N. Longobardi who died in 1969.
Born in Franklin, May 12, 1920, the daughter of the late John and Lena (Bertoli) Accorsi, Mrs. Longobardi was a lifelong Franklin resident.
A homemaker most of her life, she had worked many years ago at the former American Felt Company in Franklin.
She is survived by her sons, Ronald Longobardi, the former Assistant Superintendent of the Milford Public Schools, and his wife, Judy of West Harwich and Richard Longobardi of Franklin.
She is also survived by her grandchildren, Paul Longobardi and his wife, Kristin of Wrentham, Kelly Caruso and her husband, John of Fairfield, CT, and Julie Susnitsky and her husband, Eric of Washington D.C.
She also survived by her great-grandchildren, Christopher, Andrew and Nicholas Longobardi, Julianna and Mia Caruso and John Paul Susnitsky.
Her funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, February 7 in St. Mary’s Church in Franklin at 9:00 a.m.
Burial will in the parish cemetery.
Calling hours will be on Saturday from 8:00-8:45 a.m.
