Harold J. Malbon of Bridgewater died Feb 2 at Brockton Hospital., He was age 92. Harold was born in Waltham, grew up in Brockton, and was a graduate of Brockton High School. After high school he enlisted in the Army and served in WWII. After the war he went to watch making school and later opened his own business, Malbon Jewelers of Rockland. Later he worked for Northrop Corp. of Norwood until his retirement in 1981. After retirement he started focusing on his hobbies of reading, collecting books, genealogy, and town histories. Harold was the beloved husband of the late Lillian (Kadish) Malbon. Loving father of Alan J. Malbon and Gail L. Malbon both of Bridgewater. He was the brother of the late Sally Principe and Elroy Malbon. Funeral services to be held later in the spring.
