Obituary

Michele Joan Sullivan, 37, passed away at home in Saugus on February 2nd, 2009. She was born in Malden on June 24th, 1971 to her parents Richard J. and Rosalie (Carine) Sullivan. Michele was raised by her family in Medford. She attended many schools and day programs over the years including the Boston College Campus School and the Crotched Mountain School in Greenfield, New Hampshire. For over sixteen years, she has been part of the Shore Collaborative day care and work program. Since 1981, Michele has been attending Camp Fatima in Gilmanton, New Hampshire during the Camp Fatima Exceptional Citizens Week. She enjoyed music, attending concerts and was an avid fan of Neil Diamond, James Taylor, The Kingston Trio and many others. She also enjoyed watching the television show American Idol. For the past seven years Michele lived at a home in Saugus where she developed many lasting friendships. She is the beloved daughter of Richard J. and Rosalie (Carine) Sullivan of Medford; the dear sister of Susan Sullivan and her husband Bruce Davis of Farmville, Virginia, Robin Dooling and her husband Gregg of Medford and Michael Sullivan of Medford; and the beloved auntie of Colleen and Matthew Dooling. She is also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins. Relatives & friends are invited to attend her funeral from the Breslin Funeral Home, 610 Pleasant St., Malden on Friday February 6th at 9:30 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial celebrated at Immaculate Conception Church, 600 Pleasant St., Malden at 10:30 AM. Services will conclude with interment in Oak Grove Cemetery in Medford. Visiting hours will be held at the funeral home on Thursday February 5th from 4-8 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the Camp Fatima Exceptional Citizens Week, P.O. Box 206, Gilmanton I.W., NH 03837.
