Lillian E. (Popham) Clemmey, 78, of 1039 Stafford Street in the Rochdale section of Leicester died Monday, Feb. 2 in UMass Memorial Hospital, 119 Belmont Street in Worcester.
She leaves her husband of 54 years Paul F. Clemmey, two sons Peter A. Clemmey of Worcester and Charles E. Clemmey and his wife Aida of Southbridge, four daughters Brenda A. Adams and her husband Donald of Leicester, Cindy L. Gately and her husband Michael of Spencer, Paula F. Clemmy-Kimball of Worcester and Charlene M. Cote and her husband Christopher of Rochdale, a brother Richard Popham and his wife Muriel of Torrington, CT, a sister Colleen Rochefort of Rochdale, 13 grandchildren including Richard, Tammy, Jeffery, Sherry, Dawn Marie, Adam, Brandon, Benjamin, Lillian, Charles and Briana, 9 great grandchildren and 1 great great granddaughter. She is pre-deceased by a daughter Linda J. Barriere who died in 1991, six brothers Lawrence, Herbert, George, William, Robert and Ralph Popham and three sisters Elsie Leger, Elizabeth Anthony and Dorothy Nelson.
Mrs. Clemmey was born in Worcester daughter of William C. and Lottie E. (Ellis) Popham. She enjoyed bingo, camping and family gatherings.
The funeral will be held Thursday, Feb. 5 at 11:00 AM in MORIN-MORRISON FUNERAL HOME, 1131 Main Street, Leicester. Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery, Leicester.
