Armand L. Brunelle, 74 of First Ave. died Saturday in Oakland Grove Health Care Center. He was the husband of the late Rita D. (Durand) Brunelle. Mr. Brunelle was born in Woonsocket, a son of the late Leo and Alice (Phaneuf) Brunelle. He was a custodian for five years for Bryant College before retiring eighteen years ago. Prior to that, he worked as a truck driver for many years, for the former Theroux Brothers Trucking and McLaughlin and Moran.
Mr. Brunelle is survived by two sons Roger L. Brunelle and his wife Lori and Richard L. Brunelle and his wife Donna all of Woonsocket, a daughter Linda C. Paterson and her husband Donald of Blackstone, three brothers Paul Brunelle of Woonsocket, Donald Brunelle of Douglas, MA, and Rene Brunelle of Lincoln, two sisters Lorraine Lessard of Woonsocket, and Paulette Cardin of Goshen, IN, seven grandchildren and three step grandchildren. He was also the father of the late Roland Brunelle.
Mr. Brunelle’s funeral will be held Wednesday at 9:00 AM from the Fournier & Fournier Funeral Home, 463 South Main St. with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM in Holy Family Church, South Main St. Woonsocket. Burial will be held in St. Jean Baptiste Cemetery in Bellingham. Visiting hours are Tuesday 5-8 PM.
