Mary A. Staback of Peckville died Saturday in the Laurels at Mid Valley. She was the widow of Joseph W. Staback, who died in 1997.
Born in Olyphant, daughter of the late John and Anna Tronovitch Ofcharsky, she was employed at the Barbizon Sewing Factory in Jessup. She was a member of St. Michael the Archangel Church, Olyphant.
Surviving are a daughter, Lisa Haney and husband, Dale, Pennington, N.J.; a son, Joseph Staback and wife, Marjorie, Peckville; three sisters, Agnes Kudoski and Eleanor Whitman, both of Dickson City; and Elizabeth Lewan, Peckville; two brothers, Edward, Mount Cobb; and Walter, Norristown; a granddaughter, Allison Staback; three grandsons, Matthew Staback, Jacob and Joshua Haney; nieces and nephews.
She was also preceded in death by a brother, Joseph Ofcharsky.
Funeral services will be Tuesday from the Michael P. Glinsky Funeral Home Inc., 129 Grant St., Olyphant, with Mass at 9:30 a.m. in St. Michael the Archangel Church, to be celebrated by the Rev. Thomas Muldowney. Interment, St. Michael's Cemetery.
