Obituary

Taunton , Stanley Michael Replinski, a lifelong Taunton resident, died Thursday, January 29, 2009 after a brief illness at the Taunton Nursing Home. He was 91 years of age. He was the loving husband of Viola (Bianchi) Replinski. He was born in Taunton . Son of the late Emil Replenski and Mary (Krol) Replenski. Mr. Replinski was a self employed carpenter for most of his life. In his early years, he was employed with W.H. Barker Company. He also attended Taunton Schools and was a member of the Coast Guard Auxiliary. Mr. Replinski and his wife were communicants of the Holy Rosary Church for many years. He was a lifetime member of the U.S. Power Squadron. He was also the past commander and past district commander. He was a Full Certificate Senior Navigator, he also taught safe boating courses. He was a member of the Taunton Squad Air Force Association. He was appointed to the Governing Board Emeritus. Last year he received a fifty year merit mark. He was also a commodore at the Taunton Yacht Club. In addition to his wife, he leaves one brother Fred J. Replenski of Taunton . He was also the brother of the late Thaddeus Replenski, Helen Metzger, Laura Rogers, and Eleanor Replenski. He also leaves several nieces and nephews.
His funeral will be held Monday, February 2, 2009 at 11:30am at the Taunton Funeral Home 8 Crapo St (off Tremont St). Relatives and friends invited to attend.
