CSM. Retired.Rex Lloyd Babb, 89, Clarksville, died Saturday, Jan. 31, 2009, at Gateway Medical Center. The funeral will be held at 2 PM Tuesday at Neal-Tarpley Chapel with Rev. Steve Lannom officiating. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery with full military honors. Visitation will be from 10 AM until the hour of service Tuesday at the funeral home. Neal-Tarpley Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. He was born on July 22, 1919, in Lufkin, TX. son of Charles Babb and Lula Mangum Babb. He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife Margaret Biter Babb, one brother Charles B. Babb and two sisters Helen Morgan and Dorothy Holloway. He was a retired CSM of the US Army after 30 years of service. He is survived by one son Danny (Marilyn) Turner of Woodlawn,TN. one daughter Debbie McMinn of Evansville,IN., three grandchildren Jason Lloyd Turner, Paul McMinn, Jessie McMinn, two great grandchildren Kaiden Turner and Olivia Turner and special friend Ann Tue. Military will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Neighbors of Love Court.
