Manchester– James F. Maywalt, 76, died January 29, 2009, at Catholic Medical Center following a brief illness.
He was born in Auburn NY, on June 3, 1932 the son of John and Alma (Dreschler) Maywalt.
He graduated from Lemoine College in New York State.
He served his country in the U. S. Army. He was an active volunteer at the Veterans Administration Medical Center.
Prior to his retirement he was an engineering manager for Link Aviation.
He enjoyed reading. Family members include two sons Scot T. Maywalt of Ashland, Stephen N. Maywalt of Medford MA, one daughter Margaret Williams of Dillon Colorado, two grandchildren, and his good friend of 20 years Patty Ann Caswell, of Manchester.
He was predeceased by a son Quinn J. Maywalt in 1976 and a sister Jean Maywalt Clancy in 2004.
Services: A memorial reception will be held on Tuesday from 6 to 8 pm at J. N. Boufford & Sons Funeral Home 110 Bridge St. Manchester NH. Prayer services will take place during calling hours.
Burial will take place in the spring at the Veterans Cemetery in Boscawen.
