Paul David Riley

Paul David Riley, died January 28, 2009 peacefully at home after a lengthy illness. He was the beloved husband of Patricia (Dwyer) Riley.
He was born December 3,, 1942, in Woburn, MA, the son of Charles and Jean (Carey) Riley. Paul and Patty were long time residents of Somerville before moving to Tewksbury fifteen years ago.
He served in the United States Army and was a Vietnam Veteran. He worked at General Motors for 34 years and served as President of the United Auto Workers Union, Local #422 for the past 10 years. He was a member of the Crystal Community Club in Wakefield and a communicant of St. William's Parish in Tewksbury.
He is survived by his loving wife Patty, his sons Matthew and Patrick and his daughter Elizabeth Riley of Tewksbury and his son and daughter Michael Riley and Michelle Marcello of Billerica. Brother of Charles of Wakefield, Ronald of Everett, Richard of Somerville , Jean (Riley) Smith and Susan (Riley) Anderson of Somerville, and the late Kenneth Riley. He also leaves behind many grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
His Funeral Mass was celebrated on February 3rd in St. William's Church, Tewksbury. Burial followed at Fox Hill Cemetery, Billerica. Memorial contributions may be made to the Riley Family Fund at P.O. Box 295, Tewksbury, MA 01876.
