Jennifer L. Stowers, 23, of South Boston, MA died unexpectedly Wednesday May 21, 2003 in Boston. She was born in Derry, NH on May 16, 1980, the daughter of Joseph F. and Ellen (King) Stowers. She was a resident of South Boston, MA for five years, formerly living in East Derry. She was a graduate of Pinkerton Academy, Derry, Class of 1998 and Wheelock College, Boston, MA, Class of 2002. Jennifer was a schoolteacher at Blackstone Elementary School in Boston. She was an avid dancer and musician.
In addition to her parents of East Derry, NH, she is also survived by her fiancé, Douglas Quintal of South Boston, MA to whom she was to be married on July 4th his parents, Don and Beverly Quintal, Peabody, MA, her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Gilbert King, Fitchburg, MA (formerly of Petersham, MA.), her three uncles, Ronald Stowers, Gilbert King and Earl King, numerous great aunts, great uncles and six cousins. She was predeceased by one uncle Raymond King.
A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Saturday May 24th at 2:00pm in Holy Cross Church, Hampstead Rd., Derry. Burial will follow in Forest Hill Cemetery, E. Derry. Calling hours will be Saturday from 10:00 – 1:00 in the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch St., Derry.
