STOUGHTON- Bernadette M. Bellay,60, of Stoughton, passed away unexpectedly at Home ,on Monday May 5,2003. She was the loving daughter of the late Mr. Stephen Bellay and the late Mrs. Rose (Rivella) Bellay.
Born November 9,1942, Bernadette was a lifelong Stoughton resident. She was educated in Stoughton schools. Bernadette lived a very private lifestyle. One of her greatest Achievements was when she was able to participate in a study At the Faulkner Hospital in Jamaica Plain,MA which involved PKU testing. It was through this study and Bernadettes participation, That other young children who are mentally challenged were given the Opportunity to live more normal lifestyles.
She loved music of all types. She had a special interest in playing The organ.
She is survived by her Beloved brother Robert Bellay of Stoughton, with Whom she made her home. She was also the sister of the late Stephanie Bellay. Also survived by her loving companion Berger.
Her Funeral Service will be at 11:00 A.M. on Friday May 9,2003 in the Sheehan Funeral Home, 115 Monk Street, Stoughton. Her interment Will follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Stoughton. Visiting hours are on Thursday May 8,2003 from 5-7 P.M. Only.
