Anthony J. DePari, 68, passed away surrounded by his loving family at the Caritas Holy Family Hospital in Methuen, Ma.
Born November 9, 1940 in Lawrence, Ma., Mr. DePari attended the Lawrence schools. He graduated from Lawrence High and later attended Wentworth College in Boston, Ma.
Anthony was a parishioner at Corpus Christi Parish, Holy Rosary Church in Lawrence, Ma.
Mr. DePari was the owner and floral designer of Floral Images by Anthony in Boston. Previously, he owned a large floral shop in California.
He loved his work and took great pleasure in making others happy with his flowers.
He was the son of the late Angelo and Josephine (Stanganelli) DePari, brother of the late Joseph DePari.
He is survived by sisters:
Priscilla D. DePardo and her husband William of Salem, NH
JoAnn M. Hourihan and her husband James of Plaistow, NH
Kathleen Morris and her husband Robert of Methuen, Ma.
Uncle Alfred Stanganelli and his wife Olga of Amesbury Ma.
As well several nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and cousins.
Tony grew up next to Rosebud Floral Shoppe where he learned some floral designing and became very close to his beloved friends, Sam and Michaela Tomaselli of Walpole Ma and the Tomaselli family.
His funeral mass will be celebrated on Saturday on January 31, 2009 at 10:00 AM in Corpus Christi Parish, Holy Rosary Church in Lawrence, Ma.
Burial will follow at the Bellevue Cemetery in Lawrence, Ma.
